American Academy of Professional Coders

American College of Emergency Physicians

ACEP supports quality emergency care and promotes the interests of emergency physicians. Chapters advocate for the rights of physicians and their patients, as well as provide CME resources, news, and leadership opportunities. Florida Society of Ambulatory Surgucal Centers

The Florida Society of Ambulatory Surgucal Centers mission is to advance the ambulatory surgical center industry through government advocacy and to promote the professionalism of its members through education, networking and the exchange of information.   FSASC is the only organization in Florida that maintains close contact with state agencies to monitor and impact regulations that govern ASCs. Members are provided with a steady flow of vital information to enable centers to operate with state-of-the-art surgical, technical and administrative procedures.

Healthcare Billing and Management Association

HBMA’s mission is to elevate the profession, first, through educational conferences, publications, newsletters, online forums, continuing education programs and other resources. Second, HBMA advocates for “medical billing friendly” policies in Washington and promotes professionalism by establishing and communicating the Medical Biller’s Code of Ethics. Third, HBMA furthers cooperation through peer networking and cultivation of working relationships with public payers, private insurance carriers, government agencies and other interested parties.

Medical Group Management Association

MGMA is the premier membership association for professional administrators and leaders of medical group practices. Since 1926, MGMA has delivered networking, professional education and resources and political advocacy for medical practice management. The Association started as a small network of clinic managers, called the National Association of Clinic Managers, which met for the first time in Madison, Wis., in 1926. The name was changed to the Medical Group Management Association in 1963 to reflect the diverse management roles found in group practice.

Radiology Business Management Association

The Radiology Business Management Association (RBMA) is a not-for-profit professional organization serving individuals whose primary business involves radiology.
