Last week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) finalized a rule which expands reporting options for the meaningful use EHR Incentive Program in 2014. The Certified EHR Technology (CEHRT) Rule allows providers to meet meaningful use with EHRs certified to the 2011 or 2014 Edition criteria or a combination of both Editions for an EHR reporting period in 2014.
