Two Lake County ophthalmologists have consented to a six-figure installment for inappropriately charging Medicare for eyelid fix medical procedures, the U.S. Lawyer’s Office said Tuesday. Specialists Craig D. Fishman and Jeffrey A. Sheridan, who work Fishman and Sheridan Eyecare Specialists, will pay $157,312.12 to determine charges they disregarded the False Claims Act, said William Daniels of the examiner’s office.
